Dental prosthesis can be used to replace one or a few lost teeth, or it can be used to replace all teeth. However, in dental prosthesis applications, the protection of the existing teeth in the patient's mouth is at the forefront. Dental prosthesis is produced in the most suitable tones for the bone color of the person. Thus, the person's prosthetic tooth color has a natural appearance. The main purpose of dental prosthesis application is to regain the lost chewing function of the person. With the recovery of the chewing efficiency of the person, the quality of life is also increased.
Complete Denture
(Total Prothesis)
It is performed when only one or a few teeth are missing and the remaining teeth are intact. Sometimes it can also be done with immediate root placement (immediate implant) in the place where the tooth was pulled.
The most important factor when deciding on the implant is the patient's bone structure.

After the upper and lower jaw bones are viewed in detail, 4 or 6 implants are applied at determined angles. Especially in patients with no teeth, oral-dental health is achieved in a single day. Treatment prevents patients who do not have teeth to go untreated due to bone deficiency, bone augmentation or sinus lift. Fixed prostheses can be produced on the same day for patients with the All on 4/6 technique.
Removable prosthesis stabilized on implants (Overdenture)
It is preferred in dental conditions such as if there is insufficient bone in the area where the implant will be applied, in raising the sinus floor before the implant, in causing chronic inflammation, and in the melting of the bone that remains in the mouth for a long time. Jaw bone powder, also called bone graft, is obtained in different ways. It is produced in the form of block or small particle powder.

Dental prostheses, which have an effective use feature, are used in a wide range of areas. When the life of the denture comes to the fore, it is possible to talk about an average of 15 to 20 years.
Treatment Information and Process
Removable partial dentures are attached to other teeth in the mouth by means of hooks. Together with impression taking and rehearsal procedures, the treatment can be completed in approximately 2 weeks. In Complete dentures, on the other hand, it is waited for an average of 3 months after all the teeth in the mouth are extracted. At the end of this period, prosthesis application is performed. Full denture application can be completed in 4-5 sessions with measurements and rehearsals. It takes approximately 2 weeks for this. The same is true for implant stabilized prostheses.
Things to Consider After Treatment
You should clean the denture after every meal under running water and, if possible, with a denture cleaning brush (if you can't find it, a soft toothbrush). (Non-fixed prostheses) You do not need to use a paste or a special substance during cleaning. Wash the prosthesis only with soap (no matter solid or liquid). Keeping your denture clean is important for prolonging the life of the denture and for the health of your oral tissues. It should be kept in mind that poorly maintained dentures may cause a bad odor over time and may cause bad effects on the oral tissues due to the microorganisms accumulating on them.
